Process

How the board challenge process works

Four simple stages from application to the published rescrutiny result.

  1. 01

    Send the first SMS

    11 August 2026

Send RSC <board> <roll> <subject code> to 16222 from a Teletalk pre-paid SIM. You will receive the fee amount and a PIN.

  2. 02

    Confirm with the second SMS

    Same day

Reply RSC YES <PIN> <contact number> to 16222. The fee is deducted from your Teletalk balance and the application is accepted.

  3. 03

    Board re-examination

    45–60 days

The board re-checks the total marks, verifies that every answer was marked, and re-checks the OMR entry of your answer script.

  4. 04

    Result publication

    Within 45–60 days of application

Only changed results are published as a PDF on the board website, and every applicant whose result changes is informed by SMS on the contact number given.

Apply

SSC Rescrutiny Application 2026 — SMS format

The application is completed with exactly two SMS from a Teletalk pre-paid mobile. Use the simulator below to build your message safely before sending it.

1

SMS 1 — Application request

FormatRSC <space> First 3 letters of board <space> Roll <space> Subject code
Example RSC DHA 123456 101

Send to 16222. A return SMS gives you the total fee and a PIN number. Nothing is deducted at this stage.

SMS 2 — Payment confirmation

FormatRSC <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Contact number
Example RSC YES 12345678 01XXXXXXXXX

Send to 16222. Any operator number can be used as the contact number. Keep the confirmation SMS.

Send to 16222

To challenge more than one paper, separate the subject codes with a comma in the first SMS — for example RSC DHA 123456 101,102,107,108. A fee of BDT 150 applies to each paper.

SMS builder

Fill the fields and the exact message is written for you. On a phone, Send opens your SMS app with the text and the number already filled in — you still confirm and send it yourself, from your own Teletalk pre-paid SIM.

RSC DHA 123456 101

Result

SSC Board Challenge Result 2026

The rescrutiny result is published for changed results only. There are two official ways to see it.

Check online

  1. Every board publishes one "Changed Result Only" PDF — there is no roll-wise online form on the board websites
  2. Pick your board and enter your roll in the result checker on this page; it searches that same official PDF for you
  3. You will see the subject, your previous grade and your current grade side by side
  4. Prefer the raw file? Open your board's own website from the list below and download the PDF
Check my roll now
Or open the official website of your board:
Open

Get it by SMS

  1. The board sends an SMS to the contact number you gave in the second SMS
  2. Only applicants whose result has changed receive this SMS
  3. If your marks or grade did not change, you will not get a result SMS
  4. No separate SMS command is needed to receive the rescrutiny result

Keep that SIM active until the rescrutiny result is published.

Important: if your roll is not in the changed-result PDF, your original result stands — the re-check did not change your marks.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions students search most about SSC board challenge and rescrutiny results.

What is SSC board challenge 2026?

Board challenge — officially called rescrutiny — is the process of asking your education board to re-check an SSC answer script. The board does not re-evaluate the answers; it verifies that every answer was marked, that the marks were added correctly, and that the marks were entered correctly on the OMR sheet.

When does the SSC rescrutiny application 2026 start and end?

Applications run from 11 August 2026 to 17 August 2026. The window normally opens the day after the SSC result is published and stays open for about seven days. Always confirm the exact dates from your board’s official notice.

How much is the SSC board challenge fee in 2026?

The fee is BDT 150 for each paper. If you challenge four papers, the total is BDT 600. Bangla and English have two papers each, so challenging both papers of a subject costs double.

How do I apply for board challenge by SMS?

From a Teletalk pre-paid SIM, send: RSC <space> first three letters of your board <space> roll <space> subject code to 16222. You will receive a PIN with the fee amount. Then send: RSC <space> YES <space> PIN <space> contact number to 16222 to confirm.

Can I apply for more than one subject in a single SMS?

Yes. Write the subject codes separated by commas in the first SMS, for example RSC DHA 123456 101,102,107,108. The fee of BDT 150 is charged for every code you include.

Can I apply without a Teletalk SIM?

No. The board challenge application is processed only through a Teletalk pre-paid SIM. Post-paid Teletalk, other operators, bKash, Nagad and online payment are not accepted for the first SMS. Borrowing a Teletalk SIM is allowed — only the contact number in the second SMS needs to be yours.

When will the SSC board challenge result 2026 be published?

The rescrutiny result is usually published Within 45–60 days of application. Boards publish a “Changed Result Only” PDF and send an SMS to the contact number given during application.

How can I check the SSC rescrutiny result 2026?

Open your board’s website, download the changed-result PDF and search your roll number, or use the result checker on this page. Applicants whose result changed also receive an SMS from the board.

My roll is not in the PDF — what does it mean?

It means your result did not change. Boards publish changed results only, so an absent roll number confirms that the re-check found no error and your original grade stands.

Can my grade go down after a board challenge?

It is possible but rare. Rescrutiny corrects addition and entry errors in both directions, so the published list occasionally shows a lower GPA when an earlier total was inflated. In the vast majority of changed results the grade improves.

Is the money refunded if my result does not change?

No. The rescrutiny fee is a processing charge and is not refunded, whether or not your result changes.

Will my answer script be re-evaluated?

No. Board challenge is a re-check, not a re-evaluation. Examiners do not award new marks for the content of your answers; they only confirm that existing marks were counted and recorded correctly.
